概要	Optically compensated bend (OCB) mode liquid crystal display (LCD) panels are newly developed displays that have an excellent moving picture quality that is almost equivalent to that of a cathode-ray tube display. By measuring the centre of gravity of the human body, we compared statokinesigrams (SKGs) obtained from subjects viewing moving maps on the OCBs and on conventional model displays. Indices for the form of SKGs are useful for evaluating the LCD displaying the movie. We conclude that our method, where a subject views an LCD displaying a scrolling movie, is effective in evaluating the characteristics of movies being displayed on LCDs.
